Steel production by German steelworks decreased by almost 24 percent in the current month compared to March. This was announced by the Steel Association. In April, a total of 23.9 percent less crude steel was produced with 2.6 million tons of crude steel than in April of the previous year. The reason for this is a decrease in car manufacturing capacities.
