Since there have been surveys concerning the number of cases of Corona infections, over 179,300 people have contracted the lung disease in Germany. Most of them have recovered, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) announced. Local authorities reported a total of 362 new infections to the RKI within one calendar day. This represents a low level. However, there have been some local outbreaks of infection.
