The Federal Government has launched an aid program to help companies during the Corona crisis and to get the economy going. For three months up to and including August, it will be possible for companies and the self-employed to receive grants at their fixed costs. This is intended to help small and medium-sized companies in particular, for example in the hotel and catering trade, in the catering trade and in the tourism industry.

Solo self-employed and freelancers can also apply if their sales in April and May 2020 were 60 percent lower than in the same period last year. A total budget of 25 billion Euros is projected for the aid. Tax advisors or auditors should submit the applications for the companies concerned.
