The chairman of the board of directors of the German Hospital Association, Gerald Gaß, has announced that the burden on clinics in Germany has lessened slightly in view of the third Corona wave. New infections have been constant for 14 days, Gaß explained.
Since April 26, when the current Corona wave last peaked, patient numbers have declined slightly. The stress on employees makes it necessary to keep the number of infections down, Gaß added. He does not expect any exponential increase.
