(GermanPolicy.com) – In the first half of the current year, the authorities recorded an increase in permits for the construction of apartments of 7.7 percent. Two-family houses were particularly in demand, with an increase of 37.5 percent. This was announced by the Federal Statistical Office. In June the number of building permits fell, but the authorities approved an impressive number of 31,844 apartments. In May, the number was about 8.5 percent higher.
