A ‘future fund’ for the car industry

(GermanPolicy.com) – The Federal Government will provide a “future fund” of one billion Euros for the changing automotive industry by 2025, as announced by the Federal Minister of Finance and SPD Chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz. 340 million Euros are to flow into regional cooperations and digitization, and 320 million Euros are to be given to medium-sized companies in order to produce clean car drives. Scholz commented: “Our goal is for the German automotive industry to build the climate-friendly cars of the future, create new jobs and maintain value creation.”
