CDU expert warns against ‘flexibility’ in debt

(GermanPolicy.com) – The chairman of the Medium Enterprises and Economy Union, Linnemann (CDU), has warned of a growing mountain of debt. In the exploratory paper on the coalition negotiations between the SPD, the Greens, and the FDP, nothing can be found with respect to the ‘black zero’ goal. Linnemann expressed the fear that it could lead to a debt union. Rather, the exploratory paper mentions that the Stabilization and Growth Pact has shown flexibility, which opened the door to abuse, Linnemann decried.
