(GermanPolicy.com) – The head of the FDP, Christian Lindner, and FDP general secretary Volker Wissing have spoken out in favor of reviving the citizen tests. “In view of the developments, the decision of the CDU-led Federal Government to end free citizen tests was apparently premature,” said Lindner, according to a media report. “It would be better to reintroduce the citizen tests now, because in this way, one would receives more precise information about the infection process, and thus more protection,” added Wissing. The FDP had advised to offer free tests up to the end of spring.
