(GermanPolicy.com) – Green co-chair Lang has called for the introduction of a speed limit on autobahns in Germany to save more energy. You have to “get out of dependencies as quickly as possible”. This is possible if you diversify, expand sustainable energies and reduce energy consumption.

The Federal Environment Agency estimates that a limit of 120 km/h on German autobahns could save around 2.5 million tons of CO2. This is equivalent to more than a billion liters of gasoline.
