(GermanPolicy.com) – The state can apparently prepare for significantly more funding than was previously expected. This was announced by Federal Finance Minister Lindner. According to the tax estimate, the federal, state and local governments can expect additional income of 40.4 billion Euros. By 2026, including EU taxes, it should be an additional 220 billion Euros. Total revenue for the current year is likely to be around 889.3 billion Euros. Lindner wants to comply with the debt brake anchored in the Basic Law again from 2023.
