The proposed measures include the substantial exclusion of electricity tax and grid fees from energy costs. Furthermore, the Greens aspire to uphold the previous price of the Germany Ticket at 49 euros – Individuals under the age of 16 should be granted the privilege of traveling without incurring any charges.

Additional relief is anticipated through an increase in the employee lump sum in the income tax return to 1,500 euros. Brantner posits that young families, in particular, stand to gain from an augmented parental allowance, thereby enhancing financial stability during the initial period. Specifically, the proposal entails increasing the minimum allowance from 300 euros to 400 euros, and the maximum from 1,800 euros to 2,400 euros. Additionally, the Greens are championing the cause of rent regulation.

When it comes to the economy, as a prospective coalition partner in a future federal government, the Greens also propose the establishment of an investment fund aimed at doubling current public investments to 75 billion euros annually, as elucidated by Green Party Chairman Felix Banaszak.
