Lindner rules out coalition with the Green party

(de-news.net) – The FDP’s leader, Christian Lindner, has ruled out forming another coalition with the Greens if his party re-enters the Bundestag. He argued that the Greens’ approach to energy, climate policy, economic reform, and migration is ideologically driven and incompatible with Liberal goals and asserting that a government without left-wing parties would be preferable. Lindner defended the FDP’s recent vote with the Union which also saw the AfD voting on a legal act, emphasizing that the particular decisions were issue-based and not influenced by the AfD’s stance. Lindner advocated for economic disruption in Germany, suggesting the dissolution of entire offices and the dismissal of 20% of administrative officials. He called for a shift in climate policy, aligning Germany’s climate goals with the EU’s target for 2050.
