(de-news.net) – The CDU/CSU intends to implement the Five-Point Plan against illegal migration proposed by Union Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz (CDU) immediately after assuming government. This is part of a 15-point emergency program to be adopted at the CDU party conference in Berlin on Monday. The plan includes permanent border controls, rejections at the borders, and indefinite detention for deportable criminals and threats. Additionally, the Union continues to support the Influx Limitation Act, which was rejected in the Bundestag on Friday under old majorities. Furthermore, in terms of security, the program proposes IP address storage and electronic ankle bracelets for violent offenders against women.
The Union’s emergency program aims to quickly stimulate the economy and enhance security. The draft program includes measures derived from the parties’ election manifesto, which they believe will facilitate swift political decision-making. Specific measures include reducing electricity taxes and network charges, cutting bureaucracy, introducing an active pension, and tax exemption for overtime. The CDU also pledges to provide economic relief and to repeal legislation enacted by the traffic light coalition, including the Heating Act, the National Supply Chain Act, and the partial legalization of cannabis.
