(de-news.net) – FDP leader Christian Lindner intends to reorganize government departments, thereby eliminating a minimum of four federal ministries. He proposed the consolidation of the following ministries: firstly, construction and transport; secondly, health, family, and social affairs; thirdly, foreign affairs and development; and lastly, economy and labor. Lindner further seeks to centralize digital responsibilities across all departments into a single entity, without recruiting new personnel, but rather by amalgamating existing departments and offices into a newly established digital ministry. The FDP leader also plans to dissolve the Federal Environment Agency and integrate the Federal Office of Administration with the Federal Agency for Administrative Services.
