(de-news.net) – The natural gas supply in Germany remains stable despite low temperatures and decreasing storage levels. The Ines storage association has assured that the remaining reserves will suffice for the rest of the winter. Additionally, the Federal Network Agency has described the gas supply in Germany as stable.
Over the past few weeks, storage levels have significantly declined. The law mandates that the storage level be at least 30 percent on February 1st. This threshold was substantially exceeded at nearly 56 percent. Gas storage facilities compensate for fluctuations in gas consumption, serving as a buffer system for the gas market. Simultaneously, natural gas continues to flow into Germany through pipelines and LNG terminals.
