(de-news.net) – In the wake of the Bundestag election, German enterprises have urged for improved business conditions in Germany. The next government must address that issue to initiate change, stated the President of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Peter Adrian. He noted that Germany’s competitiveness is currently limited, and past trust must be restored. The DIHK proposed three measures for an immediate program: reverting the Building Energy and Energy Efficiency Act to pre-coalition standards and reducing reporting obligations for companies.
Meanwhile, economic expert Veronika Grimm has advised the next government to implement a package of measures to revive the still weak economy. She suggested reducing income tax, social security contributions, and corporate taxes to stimulate growth. Additionally, the government should reallocate the federal budget to create room for defense spending. Structural reforms and savings in the social and climate sector are necessary.
