Asian-looking citizens are increasingly facing hostility these days. According to the Cictims’ Advice Centers, people with disabilities are also often discriminated against, especially if they cannot use mouth-nose protection, for health reasons. They are subsequently not left in supermarkets, buses and trains, in the ongoing Corona crisis.

Asian people came forward asking for advice because they experience discrimination or racism. The Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency counted 200 requests of advice. Everyone of the cases was related to the Corona pandemic. The number of requests from people with disabilities has recently increased, the agency said.
