SPD politicians are now planning with the budget money that has already been decided upon. Federal Finance Minister Olaf Scholz (SPD) would like to distribute a one-off payment of 300 euros for each child. This measure could amount to up to 6 billion Euros. In addition to compensation for artists and innkeepers, the German treasury wants relief on depreciation as well as investment grants for companies – as part of a 150 billion Euro stimulus package due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
