The selfless promotion of the general public in material, intellectual and ethical fields supports social cohesion in a fundamental way,” several newspapers quote the paper.

Non-profit organizations are oftentimes as affected by the Corona crisis as commercial companies. One billion Euros are to be made available through global loans from the state-owned KfW bank. The choice of non-profit organizations should be left to the Federal States.
