The Federal Ministry of Family Affairs would like to use a Corona platform that can be called up on the Internet to show companies some good examples of how work, homeschooling, and other forms of childcare can be combined. Federal Minister of Family Affairs Giffey (SPD) said that parents cannot do everything at once, in the long run. She cited flexible working time arrangements, innovative shift models and adjusted performance expectations as examples of solutions included in her ministry’s toolbox. Specifically, parents could take turns in caring for children, she added. Companies should be better prepared for challenges such as the corona crisis, according to the ministry.
