The Federal Audit Office has appealed for more success monitoring and targeted control in the German government’s three-year sustainability strategy. So far, not all the good conditions have been created to implement the program with which the government wants to implement the UN 2030 Agenda requirements adopted in 2015. The indicators are hardly manageable for the responsible ministries and still have to be specified by the chancellery. Some of the ministries are yet to develop their own strategy based on “binding” and “sanctionable” sector targets. It was important that a climate reservation apply to all legislative proposals.
