60 nationwide vaccination centers planned in Germany

It is planned that the vaccines against the Coronavirus will be available at 60 locations, according to press reports. There should be no obligation to vaccinate. It should instead be voluntary. The distribution of vaccine dosages, which is broken down according to the population of a Federal State, is to be carried out by mobile emergency teams. Some Federal States could set up additional vaccination centers, as it is foreseeable that the demand among the German population is likely to be high. Vaccinations should be recorded via an anonymous ID – in a central database – in order to keep track of their effectiveness and side effects, if there are any. Family doctors should later be able to carry out routine vaccinations in a decentralized manner.
