German employers want to avoid a new lockdown

The Federal and State Governments should present a concept with which a new lockdown in Germany can be prevented. Employer President Dulger said the virus will not go away entirely. Nevertheless, the President of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Adrian, emphasized that extensive shutdowns of busineses and the effects that they would have on the economyshould be avoided. Instead of just looking at the incidence, one also has to keep an eye on the high vaccination rate in Germany, the chief executive of the Federation of German Industries, Lang, added.
