In 2020, more people started training in nursing professions than in previous years, as stated in the Federal Government’s 2nd Report of Concerted Care Action. This is an indication that care remains attractive for employees and trainees. In the previous year, 57,200 people started training in nursing, in 2019 there were 56,110 people and in 2018 there were 51,900. The increase is significant, reported some media. The Federal Ministry of Family Affairs projects that the overall picture will not change much.
