Scholz and Habeck comment on tax relief

(GermanPolicy.com) – Chancellor candidate Scholz (SPD) and Greens chairman Habeck see no possibility of achieving tax relief for small and medium incomes. The FDP rejects increases in taxes and duties. Scholz and Habeck said that relief is only possible if taxes on higher income increases. In fact, citizens who are financially better off would have to be burdened more heavily, but there is no consensus to that end among the ‘traffic light’ parties.
