(GermanPolicy.com) – SPD parliamentary group leader in the Bundestag Mützenich has announced that there should be a uniform transitional regulation with regard to the Corona pandemic by March 20. The ‘epidemic situation of national scope’ is expected to expire despite an increase in the number of infections and the incidence of hospitalization. Nevertheless, the heads of the traffic light parties agree that the above-mentioned transitional regulation would be passed by the German Bundestag in November.

Previously, the Greens had already advocated a new federal regulation that should apply temporarily. The three parties – SPD, Greens and FDP – want to begin coalition negotiations in working groups this Wednesday.
