(GermanPolicy.com) – The traffic light parties – SPD, Greens and FDP – want to review the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030. This should be done from an ecological point of view. Unnecessary and harmful projects could not be extended. Environmental associations should be included in the review.
The projects of the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan are prioritized and amount to 269 billion Euros. As far as climate protection is concerned, according to the Greens, the transport sector is particularly relevant. CO2 emissions are currently rising in the sector.
