In the future, hospitalization is to be interpreted uniformly nationwide: 2G from an incidence of 3.0 is planned for events, 2G Plus from an incidence of 6.0 and further contact restrictions from 9.0 and higher. Chancellor Angela Merkel said that doubling the intensive care bed occupancy in the clinics could no longer be tolerated in an already highly dramatic situation.
