Hospitals at the breaking point

(GermanPolicy.com) – The medical association Marburger Bund sees German hospitals at their breaking point. “By the beginning of February at the latest, it will be very cramped in hospitals across Germany,” criticized chairwoman Susanne Johna, according to a media report. This is due to the fact that there are failures with regard to the medical staff – doctors and nurses. Many of them would have to be isolated in the coming weeks. The Federal Association of Private Providers of Social Services made a similar statement.
The chairman of the German Hospital Society, Gerald Gass, said: “We will also see a high level of dynamic, with many new entries of patients to hospitals in the coming days and probably weeks.” With 200,000 newly infected people in one day to enter, the effect will be delayed, however it will be considerable.
