Germany is providing 1.3 billion Euros for the international initiative Act Accelerator (Act-A) for the procurement and worldwide distribution of diagnostics, medicines and vaccines against Covid-19. Mobile vaccine factories are to be set up in South Africa and other African countries, the Mainz-based pharmaceutical company BioNTech has been planning.
