The federal government’s care representative, Andreas Westerfellhaus, has proposed that every retirement and nursing home provide options for securely visiting residents. People in need of care are often among the risk groups in the corona pandemic, hence protection against infection must be guaranteed without exposing those cared for to loneliness. Residents of the home could see relatives separated by panes in visiting zones, for example, Westerfellhaus said. Dying people should be allowed to have a predetermined person with them, when it was time to say goodbye.
