A number of people were infected with the Coronavirus when celebrating a service in a Baptist church in Frankfurt. Antoni Walczok, deputy head of the Frankfurt Health Office, said the community had done nothing wrong, religious services were allowed.

In Lower Saxony, seven people staked themselves out when visiting a restaurant. Subsequently, for 50 people, domestic quarantine was ordered by the authorities. Lower Saxony State Minister for Health Reimann said that according to initial findings, there had been a private party in the restaurant in question. The restaurant tenant said that the distance and hygiene rules had been observed.
