A definite new date for the summit has yet to be set. The summit was supposed to include an agreement for an investment protection agreement.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI), Joachim Lang, has expressed concern about the atmosphere in world trade and called for a critical but above all constructive dialogue.
