The head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Haldenwang, has announced an investigation into right-wing extremism in the security authorities. Haldenwang expressed confidence that the first situation could already be available in September. Due to the individual cases, an overall view had to be taken. As Haldenwang emphasized, the vast majority of those employed in the security authorities stand firmly on the ground of the German constitution, the Basic Law.
