Lindner (FDP) wants to form a coalition with the Union parties

(GermanPolicy.com) – The chairman of the FDP, Christian Lindner, would like to form a coalition with the Union parties after the Federal Election in September instead of entering a so-called traffic light coalition with the Greens and the SPD. “The task of the FDP is to prevent a further shift to the left in German politics,” explained Lindner. Red and green are much closer to the Left Party than the FDP. Lindner lacks “the imagination” to enter into a coalition with the latter.
