(GermanPolicy.com) – The FDP, in an exploratory paper with the SPD and the Greens, has prevailed to the effect that no wealth tax will be introduced, and no taxes will be increased. The three traffic light parties will not, however, give tax relief to low-wage earners either. On the other hand, tax evasion, tax avoidance and money laundering should be fought and punished more severely.
Another point in the exploratory paper relates to the introduction of voting rights for young people aged 16 and over. Finally, the three parties want to downsize the Bundestag by changing the electoral law.
