On the occasion of the autumn meeting of the Federal Criminal Police Office, Seehofer also warned against a “brutalization of political culture and language” through possible escalation and anonymity in social media: many actors acted at the limit of what can be criminally sanctioned, although disputes over opinion are “essential” for democracies.
