Companies to determine protective measures themselves

(GermanPolicy.com) – According to an ordinance by the Federal Cabinet, companies will determine on their own which regulations with regard to infection protection apply in the workplace, from Sunday this week. The work-from-home obligation, which applies wherever possible due to the type of employment, will no longer apply.

A mask requirement will be subject to the decision of individual companies. The question of whether the workers are offered a Covid-19 test per week will then also be subject to the decision of the companies. When it comes to their hygiene cocepts, they are to keep an eye on the regional infection rates. The new rules are so far limited to 25 May.
