(de-news.net) – The Federal Constitutional Court has rejected multiple motions by the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) party, which sought a recount of the Bundestag election prior to the final results. The court deemed the motions, including constitutional complaints and isolated requests for interim orders, inadmissible. The Second Senate clarified that legal protection concerning the election remains limited before the final results, with remedies for counting errors reserved for election objections and review procedures. According to the ‘preliminary final results,’ the party fell short of Bundestag entry by 13,435 votes.
