Federal Transport Minister Scheuer wants to promote mobility through a 28 billion Euro package, especially concerning the digital infrastructure. For this alone, the Ministry of Transport would like to earmark 8.5 billion Euros. The Federal Government’s digital fund is to be increased by 3 billion Euros or more, while 5 billion Euros should flow into the 5G network expansion. In addition, rail and road construction are to be funded with over 5 billion Euros.
